Philippa Jackson is a UK-trained fully accredited Consultant Plastic Surgeon with a special interest in breast surgery. She is on the GMC specialist register for Plastic Surgery and is a full member of BAPRAS (British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons) and BAAPS (British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons).
In the NHS Philippa works at North Bristol NHS Trust where she specialises in Microvascular Breast Reconstruction. She also routinely performs surgery for breast asymmetry, size correction, and congenital abnormalities. Philippa has completed a highly competitive and desirable nationally recognised Oncoplastic Fellowship giving her an excellent knowledge of treatments for breast cancer, as well as an understanding of the impact of these treatments. Her private work focuses on breast and abdominal surgery which compliments her specialist skillset. The procedures she performs most commonly include breast reduction, breast uplift, tummy tuck, breast augmentation, liposuction, removal of skin lesions and correction of the scars.
Philippa Jackson has undertaken prize-winning research in burns, trauma and wound healing and she has published on multiple subjects including Breast Surgery in peer-reviewed journals and books. She has trained with world-renowned surgeons while completing medical school in London, and Plastic Surgery training in the Midlands, Yorkshire, and Chelmsford.
