Both highly qualified and highly regarded, Elena began her medical career in Moscow and subsequently completed 8 years of surgical training across Europe, including Paris, Barcelona, Madrid and Milan. Having spent a number of years training in Spain, Elena evolved to a speciality in plastic surgery, aesthetics surgery, microsurgery and breast reconstruction.

She has since won multiple international awards and traveled the globe so as to master advances in technology and surgical techniques, completing fellowships at leading hospitals throughout the world from Italy and Belgium to India and Japan. She then successfully undertook 3 years in one of the UK’s most prestigious Fellowships in Microsurgical Breast Reconstruction and Breast Oncoplastic Surgery at a number of hospitals including Guys and St Thomas Hospital in London and Manchester University Hospital, skillfully refining her specialism.

Having carried out more than 5000 procedures in the last 10 years alone, Elena’s professional portfolio is layered with a wealth of knowledge and experience which she is keen to share. Elena regularly teaches junior medical staff and students in her field of expertise as well as performing educational lectures on breast reconstruction for patient groups and on surgical treatment for lymphoedema to 200 delegates in the southeast of England.

Elena is based in Bristol and has spent many years in the NHS doing microsurgical reconstruction to rebuild female bodies a!er breast cancer. She now collaborates with the most prestigious private hospitals and facilities such as London Welbeck Hospital and is opening her own state-of-the-art private hospital in Bristol.
